I was fortunate enough to go to Ireland with Pops, Mom and Dawn. We were driving to back to the hotel after a full day with the relatives. It was our last day and the relatives had called every morning (early!!) and showed us a great time. But the truth was we were tired and just wanted some rest. As we drove away we noticed that the relatives were following us! Dawn and I were in the back seat wetting our pants because we were laughing so hard. They chased us all the way back to the hotel!
We laughed so much on that trip and it truly was a trip of a lifetime. I feel so blessed to have such great memories.

I remember working at the Kula Pizzaria that Phil Sr. started, which is now Cafe 808. I remember Phil Sr. showing us and showing off how to hand toss old style Chicago pizza dough. There was one time when Phil Sr. was in mid toss and I forget what actually happened but I do recall the dough coming down on him! If you have a look at the photo of Phil at his favorite Sheraton pool, one will notice that like the man he was, he also had a little "Captain Morgan" in him as well. There have been many occasions in Phil,Sr.'s life that have brought uncontrollable tears of laughter to many of us. One that stands out in my mind is when Phil was dancing amoungst a group of us - somehow he had a wardrobe malfunction, but managed not to skip a beat nor a step in regaining composure. And t
ill today, I firmly believe that Janet Jackson must have seen a clip of Phil, Sr. and chose to use that as her defense - once upon a time. Phil, you will be deeply missed by many who have come to know and love you. Aloha.
